Project Porsche Rack Build...... part 1
Made a promise.... made a challenge.... to complete the frame in 1 day of a rack that measured 161" across holding 21 tanks..... did I do it??? You be the judge of that....
Started by getting 40 pieces of 2"x4"x8' the day before and then got home and unloaded and got an early start on some much needed sleep....

Not a Porsche... just a Rav4 |
OH and not to mention the day before we basically didn't sleep to have this ordered prepped to ship to Calgary... |
Today(Nov4th) at 3:30-4 a.m. I woke up and started cutting the wood to be prepped and brought to location to assembly.... |
Once almost finished cutting it was time to head to Home Depot to get some wood for the base and some boxes of deck screws! LOAD ER' UP! |
Once we reach location of where new system is to be installed.... we begin.... |
Darn those support legs..... such tedious angle screwing work... |
Finally.... |
Porsche fits! Now to do the other 2 sides with central air and water system. |

What's up?.....
To recap on the last week of shipments made......
Most airport to airport shipment will now use a box with reflective insulation for an even more effective temperature control |
staggered packing :) |
a lil blurred... |
Sectioned off packing to prevent tools from moving and poking holes at livestock. |
A TB in every bag =) |
To Quebec =D |
Dry goods ontop to prevent it from poking livestock =) |
40 shrimps in that lil space? All arrived alive though =) |
Sometimes it takes a stoplight for you to realize its good to take breaks from work. |
Took another break after shipping through Air Canada facing YVR airport |
And once again back to work! =( |

Finally.... complete!
It's been a long time since I've updated with numerous problems I've had to deal with. This rack should have been done a long time.... well we've finally arrived to completion with all tanks up and running. Please enjoy the pictures as I've enjoyed very much the building of this rack system.

Renovation of Ebiken Studio part 3
I've finished the last and final support beams for the tanks to help distribute weight more evenly and have also hooked up the entire temporary light system. I'm currently starting to cement in place the PVC tubing for the air system and will be looking through the container for the other goodies to finish off this entire system.

Renovation of Ebiken Studio part 2
An update on the slow progress today:
the overall framework is finally complete, quite happy what I achieved myself in such little time.
And this is just to see how nice a 20 gallon will fit in 1 of the slots =) plenty of arm space ontop
And the amount of cuts I have left to finish the supporting center beams between each supporting structure. Glad I at least pre-drilled all the holes.

Renovation of Ebiken Studio
As many of you may have seen, this is the previous setup:
I've decided to change things up a bit by making everything more uniform looking and more functional and organized and so it begins...
This is when I have had almost all the pieces cut to build the rack:

Then... the demolition.... for something that took 4 days to build, I thought it would be really quick and easy for me to take apart little did I know was I wrong....
Not only did it take a long time.... but the next day I woke up to not being able to move at all and had to be hospitalized from excruciating pain due to a strained neck( stupid c3 and c4), shoulder and back... Doctors orders is not to do anymore strenuous activities for at least 6-8 months for full recovery as I've injured it over 10 times since 2008's car accident which led to a totaling of my car.... For those who know me for how stubborn I am, that just doesn't stick well with me... A few t3's the next day and a night before of my puppy missing me...
I get straight back to work (today)
at the end of the day we are left with this.... only 1 more support side to go up and then the strengthening beams (not that it needs anymore but just because its me)

Addition of a new poster on Ebi-ken
We at Ebi-ken have decided we will also have one of oldest and best customers, now partners and considered an associate of Ebi-ken be allowed to have his own section as he documents his continuation of breeding his own lineage of extremely high quality shrimps, MananaP (Stephan). MananaP is fairly well known in International based shrimp forum such as shrimpnow and has shared his experience and help with many other breeders. As we move onto the revamping of Ebi-ken studio, he will be posting updates in his expansion of his breeding room and the projects that he works on.
Busy....Busy....Busy.....
